The "strong shoulder" design includes a distinctive structural ledge molded just above the rounded body and right below the screw threads, historically engineered to prevent fracturing during the heavy-duty pressure sealing process. Complete with its original aged zinc metal lid, this heavy heirloom glass piece is filled with unique manufacturing imperfections like swirling straw marks, seed bubbles, and wavy textures typical of antique glasswork.
